Gardenstown is a small village on the Moray Firth situated between Macduff
to the west and Crovie and Pennan to the east.

Shops There is a Spar which sells petrol and at which you can get cash
back. There is a general store in Main Stret called Gamrie Larder where you can buy bread, milk and many other basic
foodstuffs. You can also buy a cup of coffee and perhaps a slice of cake which you can relax and enjoy on the comfy sofa while
you read the magazines provided or check your emails using the free Wi Fi service. Open Mon. Tues. 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Closed Wed. Open Thurs. - Sat. 9.00 a.m. -5.00 p.m and Sun. 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon. There is no bank or A.T.M. machine
in the village. Cash back is available at the Spar.

Eating Out Establishments which serve food are; The
Garden Arms Hotel located at the end of Main Street next door to Kathleen`s Bed and Breakfast.
The food is excellent and well worth trying. Evening meals available Fri. Sat. and Sun. during the winter period. Please note
they are closed on a Tuesday. To contact the Garden Arms Hotel tel. 01261 851260 Please be aware that the hotel does
not accept bank cards. The Harbour Restaurant opens mainly at the weekends. Bookings are accepted by telephone only.

serve teas/coffees, scones, cakes etc. and is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12.00-5.00. The next nearest
place for dining out is the Pennan Inn which is about a five minute drive from the village.

Parking There is public parking in the street wherever a space can
be found. Please note that the hotel does not allow you to park in their car park unless you are dining there.
Pets Pets are not allowed
at Kathleen`s Bed and Breakfast. This is because I, Kathleen, am allergic to dogs and cats therefore cannot have them staying
in the house.
Mobile Phones. There is no mobile
phone reception in the village. There is a public phonebox at the end of Main Street which guests can use. To connect to a
network you have to drive back up the hill out of the village.
