Gardenstown is well situated for exploring the surrounding area and there are many tourist attractions to occupy every family member what ever the age.
For nature lovers it is a paradise being close to the RSPB reserve at Troup Head which boasts the largest mainland colony of nesting gannets in Scotland amongst many other seabirds including the puffin.
Dolphins can be seen regularly swimming in the bay; a truly amazing sight.
In spring the hillsides are covered with primroses and in early summer wild orchids grow on the grassy slopes amongst a myriad of other wild flowers.
Every season offers something special.
